Arizona Mobile Photo Contest

The University’s official mobile app, Arizona Mobile, is holding a photo contest to feature pictures that celebrate the UA community.

Share your university experience for a chance to win a UA technology prize package and get your creative photo featured on the landing page of the Arizona Mobile app!



Any member of the UA community (student, instructor, or staff) can enter with an official university ( email address.


In order to participate in the Arizona Mobile photo competition, you must comply with the following guidelines and restrictions:

Entry Guidelines:

1.     Photo should be in JPG or PNG format. 

2.     Photo resolution should be at least 1600px x 900px so it can be properly viewed from different devices and screen sizes.

3.     Photo must have been taken by the contest participant. If you had the help of another person, you must have the acknowledgement of the original photographer and the original photographer must agree to the permissions.

4.     Photo should represent the UA experience.

5.     Submit your photo submission through your university ( email address. There is no limit of entries you can submit.

6.     Submit before the deadline: December 31, 2017.

7.     Photo must not contain any offensive, threatening, controversial, or otherwise inappropriate content.

8.     Avoid pictures with recognizable features (e.g. faces) of individuals.

In submitting a photograph to the Arizona Mobile Photo Contest, you are licensing to Arizona Mobile the rights to use, re-use, publish, and display your submission for any purpose and in any medium, and the right to use your name when giving credit to the photograph. Duration of rights to use the winning photograph in the Arizona Mobile app is one year. Duration of rights to use a thumbnail of any photograph you submit and photographer name for historical or promotional purposes is indefinite.



1.     The Arizona Mobile team will select the top 5 pictures based on their discretion.

2.     In January, a survey for Arizona Mobile will be published on the website for individuals to vote on their favorite picture from the top 5.


Awards and Recognition:

1.     The winner will receive credit and recognition in the Arizona Mobile app, in a gallery in the app showing the entries of all contest winners, and a press release.

2.     The winner’s name and photo submission will be displayed on the landing page of the Arizona Mobile app for one year.

3.     The winner will receive a UA technology gift package.


Submission Guidelines:

1.     Take a picture that represents your university experience.

2.     Send your picture to with your university ( email address. There is no limit to how many pictures you can submit.

          December 31st, 2017
